Mental Health Counselor

Aleta serves as the Executive Director of County Line Enhancement Services. County Line Enhancement Services works to reduce hunger and provide counseling services to those in the area. Her nonprofit is dedicated to creating an environment where counselors can feel valued and provide great services. In the past, she has served as the director of crisis and psychosocial rehabilitation programs at a private mental health agency. She works with the local CSB doing involuntary commitment evaluations and with Olive Tree Counseling as a counselor specializing in trauma. She has worked with high-risk clients for a number of years, specializing in crisis and trauma counseling. Her research interests include reducing burnout in counseling, improving mental health working environments, substance abuse treatment curricula, trauma interventions, and stereotypes.
